The Zhejiang University Delegation led by Mr. Zichen Chen, the university vice chancellor, visited Medical University of South Carolina on April 12 and 13, 2011. The other members of the delegation are all from School of Medicine, including Dr. Jianhong Luo, executive dean; Dr. He Huang, associate dean of international relations; Dr. Jian’an Wang, president of the Second Affiliated Hospital; Dr. Chao He, president of the Affiliated Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital.

 

During the visit, Mr. Zichen Chen gave a brief introduction of Zhejiang University, and the School of Medicine also introduced the development recent years. Mr. Raymond S. Greenberg, president of Medical University of South Carolina expressed welcome to the delegation and led a tour in the MUSC campus. The two universities signed the memorandum of understanding and agree to set up collaboration in the area of MD/PhD study, student exchange, hospital management and Master of Science in clinical research.
