On January 18th, Prof. Hossam Hamdy, President of Gulf Medical University (GMU), and his delegation visited Zhejiang University School of Medicine. The delegation received a warm welcome from ZJU Vice President LI Xiaoming.

Vice President LI Xiaoming introduced the development of Zhejiang University School of Medicine in recent years and said that the two sides could explore cooperative areas in talent cultivation, scientific research, and medical services, and give full play to the common advantages of the two universities to sustain the development momentum of the world.

Hassan said Zhejiang University has a profound history. He expected the two sides to seek to explore new areas of cooperation together to promote the rapid development of health care in China and Dubai.

During the visit, Zhejiang University and Gulf Medical University signed the Memorandum of Understanding to lay a solid foundation for deepening cooperation between the two universities.
