A five-people delegation from University of Ottawa visited Zhejiang University School of Medicine on June 5th. The delegation included Jacques Bradwejn, the dean of Faculty of Medicine, Yuwei Wang, the Project Officer and contact joint for China, Diana Koszycki, a professor of Faculty of Medicine, as well as Majid Dellah, the Consulate General of Canada in Shanghai. Throughout the visiting, Zhi Chen, the Executive Dean and Xiaoming Li, the Associate Dean for International Affairs and Graduate Study played host to the delegation.

Zhi Chen warmly welcomed the delegation at the beginning. Xiaoming Li presented the teaching, research and clinical medicine of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. Jacques Bradwejn briefly introduced the medical education system in Canada and the frame of Faculty of Medicine. He emphasized the close cooperation among University of Ottawa and Shanghai Jiao Tong University regarding the field of medical education. The two parties discussed the possibility of jointly-cultivated Ph.D. program and the cooperative education program in the field of Public Health. The two institutes plans to interact with each other more intensely and then decide the direction of cooperation basing on the deeper understanding of each other.
