The delegation from Medical University of South Carolina visited Zhejiang University School of Medicine on June 11-14, 2010. The members of delegation include Dr. Raymond Greenberg, President of MUSC and his wife Leah Greenberg; Dr. Perry Halushka, Dean of College of Graduate Studies; Dr. Joe DiPiro, Executive Dean of College of Pharmacy; Dr. Kathleen Brady, Director of Clinical and Translational Research Institute.
Dr. Zhang Xi, University Chairman met President Raymond Greenberg, and he expressed his great support to the collaboration between two universities. Dr. Duan Shumin, Dean of Zhejiang University School of Medicine and Dr. Raymond Greenberg signed the sister university agreement.
Dr. Kathleen Brady attended the Mini Symposium on Translational Research at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital and gave a speech on the Clinical and Translational Research Institute at MUSC. Dr. Perry Halushka gave an introduction of Graduate Studies at MUSC to the medical students and faculty.
The delegation also visited College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Second Affiliated Hospital.
